Redesigning a complex healthcare website to make medical services, specialists and essential patient information easier to find and understand.

Simplifying a Complex Healthcare Experience
Herzliya Medical Center offers a wide range of medical services, treatments, departments, and specialists.
The challenge was to redesign a large, information-heavy website into a clearer and more intuitive experience for patients who often arrive with a specific need, limited medical knowledge, and very little patience for complexity.
Designing for Clarity and Trust
In healthcare, usability is closely connected to confidence.
The experience needed to help users quickly understand where to go, what service they need, and how to take the next step, while maintaining a professional and trustworthy visual language throughout the site.

Information Architecture
I worked on restructuring the website around clearer content hierarchy and more intuitive navigation.
Complex medical information was organized into meaningful categories, helping users move between departments, treatments, doctors, and supporting content without getting lost in the system.
Helping Patients Find the Right Care
A key focus was improving service discovery.
The experience was designed to support different user intentions, from searching for a specific doctor to exploring a treatment, department, or medical field.
Clear pathways and contextual navigation help users move from a broad question to the relevant service more efficiently.
Content Built Around Patient Needs
Medical websites contain a large amount of detailed information, but not every piece of information has the same priority.
Pages were structured around the questions patients are most likely to have, with important information and primary actions surfaced first, while deeper medical content remains accessible when needed.
Designing for Trust
The visual direction focused on creating a calm, professional, and highly readable experience.
Strong hierarchy, generous spacing, consistent components, and restrained visual choices help reduce cognitive load and reinforce the credibility of the medical institution.
Responsive Experience
The website was designed to work consistently across desktop and mobile.
Navigation, content density, and primary actions were adapted for smaller screens, allowing users to quickly find doctors, services, and important information from their phones.
A Consistent Digital System
Reusable patterns and components were created to support a wide range of medical content without making every page feel different.
This created a more cohesive experience for users and a scalable foundation for the website as new services and content are added.

Making Healthcare Easier to Navigate
The redesign transformed a complex healthcare website into a clearer, more structured digital experience.
By simplifying navigation, improving content hierarchy, and focusing on the information patients need most, the website helps users move from uncertainty to the right medical service with less friction.
Designed Around Real Patient Journeys
The goal was not simply to make the website look more modern.
It was to create an experience that feels understandable, reassuring, and useful at moments when clarity matters most.
